I'm Kristina, and I love taking pictures.

        If you need me, you can find me hiking in the woods, in my favorite boots with my best guy by my side.  If I’m not there, I’m cleaning out my chicken coop while somehow juggling a cup of coffee (priorities!), or harassing my husband with show tunes.  In the middle of the night, when sleep eludes me (always, it seems…), I listen to podcasts and edit, edit, edit, occasionally taking breaks to fold all the laundry in the house. I’ve always been a night owl- I love having my old farmhouse to myself, while those I love snore around me! I wouldn’t trade these years for anything, though…they’re already passing too quickly.

           This is why I find photography so magical. As a kid, I poured over magazines- National Geographic, Yankee & Vermont Life, seeing the world through them and falling in love with other cultures. I made a mess out of our family albums and boxes of pictures, memorizing the faces of those who came before me, discovering who my parents were before I transformed them into Mom & Dad.  Now, as a mother, I know firsthand how precious those early pictures are…and as the years go by, it’s the simple shots that I treasure the most- the little smirks and smiles, the special sparkle in their eyes, that first dusting of freckles across their nose… the years are picking up speed, and I’m in a race against time as I try to capture those clouds and pin them down!

        I love what I do! I’m a photographer because (even though I’m an introvert) I love meeting people. I can’t wait to spend time with you- getting to know you and capturing who you are with those you love. My sessions are relaxed and fun- I don’t hesitate to make a fool of myself for the sake of the shot. I don’t care whether you’re laughing with me or at me…I do what it takes to get the result I’m after!
